A toddler who suffered chronic eczema as a baby has been chosen as the face of a new nationwide campaign promoting the benefits of goats' milk.

Dillon Morter, two, of Tightfields Walk in South Woodham Ferrers, was picked from more than 2,000 sufferers of the irritating condition to front the Thank Goodness For Goats promotion.

As a baby Dillon, who was breast-fed, suffered awful eczema all over his face and body but when his mum, Tracy, cut cows milk out of her own diet the itchy patches completely disappeared.

When we turned a year old Mrs Morter tried introducing dairy products back into his diet but the cows milk immediately caused the eczema to return with a vengeance.

Mrs Morter said: "Dillon is much happier and healthier since I started giving him goats' milk and his skin is lovely and clear.

"I would not go back to cows' milk now after seeing such a dramatic change in him.

"I hope that by telling Dillon's story we can help others who are suffering from eczema and maybe bring relief to them."
