Shocked hurricane victim Sharlee Durham has told how she is trying to repair her battered life.
Speaking from her devastated home on the Cayman Islands the former Great Clacton woman said there seemed to be a lack of awareness about the desparation there.
The 27-year-old, who works as a legal secretary on Ggrand Cayman, said there was a desperate need for clothes especially and appealed for donation to the Red Cross who are leading the massive relief effort.
Sharlee and her brother Jonathan, 17, who was paying a surprise visit at the time, have been helping to clear up the shattered island.
