And the 30-year-old experienced U's player-of-the-month for August today said: "The game can't come quickly enough.
"I can't get back out on the pitch soon enough to get the sour taste of Saturday's poor performance and defeat at the hands of Milton Keynes Dons out of my system.
"Our display was one to forget, and quickly, and if we play like that again tomorrow night we won't stand a chance against West Brom."
