Chris Duffy looks certain to return for Canvey tomorrow as the Islanders bid to start matching their superb Nationwide Conference away results on home territory.
Duffy, a major factor in Gulls' success story over the past four years, missed last week's win at Farnborough through injury.
But he's fully recovered now and the man who's equally at home at right or left wing-back is set for a quick comeback.
Manager Jeff King said: "Chris has made a speedy recovery and the fact that he's equally at home either side of the pitch makes his presence even more important. It's pretty certain that he'll come straight back in."
There are hopes that Jon Keeling will have recovered from the knock that has kept him out for the past three weeks and could be on the bench, while Dave McGrath could be ready to resume in the back four after missing one game. Ty Gooden and Jeff Minton are still definite absentees.
Away from home Gulls are unbeaten with two wins and two draws, while at the usual Park Lane fortress they've drawn twice and suffered their only defeat - to the current leaders Barnet.
