AFTER a couple of dour 1-0 home wins, West Ham boss Alan Pardew is hoping for a better spectacle in Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Ipswich Town.
Having seen the likes of Burnley and Rotherham United come to Upton Park with plans to frustrate the Hammers he expects Ipswich to be much more adventurous.
"It should be a very different sort of game," said the manager. "If it's anything like the last couple of games against them it should be a treat for the fans - and hopefully we can get the right result as well.
"We know that Ipswich like to play attacking football and it will be interesting to meet them for the first time since the play-offs."
It has the look of benchmark game for West Ham, with a good performance likely to go a long way to backing up Pardew's recent claims that he has the best squad in the division.
With the return of Steve Lomas, Bobby Zamora and Chris Cohen from injuries and suspensions, plus the possible recall of some of the players left out against Rotherham, that strength in depth may be paraded against the Tractor Boys.
