Police are appealing for witnesses after a five-year-old girl was attacked by a dog being walked by two youngsters.
The victim was left frightened and suffered two-inch long scratches on her back and bruising. Police said the attack happened on Tuesday, September 7, near Parkeston roundabout, Harwich. Details have just been released.
The large black dog was being walked by a boy and a girl, aged about seven years old. The boy is described as white, of medium build with a shaven head. The girl is white, slim with short brown hair. Police believe the two young children walk the dog in the same area regularly.
