Crestfallen Richard Naylor admitted Ipswich Town conceded 'terrible' goals in their pulsating 3-2 defeat at Stoke City.
The Blues were knocked off top spot in the Coca Cola Championship after last night's setback at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke leapfrogged them to move into pole position, while Wigan Athletic are second on goal difference.
Naylor said: "They were terrible goals and it was a very disappointing result.
"At 2-1 you would have expected us to go on and get three points. But we gave away two poor goals from set pieces. They were carbon copies."
He added: "The third goal really was terrible. I'm not going to point the finger of blame at anyone but it was certainly a horrible way to lose the match, especially as it came five minutes from the end."
