If singing is your forte, stretch your vocal cords by joining Billericay Choral Society.
The group is looking for new members in all voice parts, particularly in the male section of the choir.
Publicity officer Anne Fryer said: "Rehearsals are relaxed and enjoyable. No audition is required, just a love of singing and a commitment to rehearsals. Ben Rous, our musical director, is a great teacher so sight reading it not a necessity either."
Rehearsals take place in the Mayflower Hall in Chapel Street, Billericay, on Tuesdays at 8pm.
Their season will begin with a performance of the Requiem by Faure in October. The same concert will feature works by Bruckner, Cesar Franck and Mozart.
Benjamin Brittain's Ceremony of Carols will be included in the society's traditional Christmas concert and looking forward to spring, there will be a performance of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.
Anyone interested in joining the group should call 01277 653338 or check out the website at www.billericaychoral.org.uk
