Organisers of the annual event said it lived up to hopes it would be the best yet.
The three-day show attracted hordes of folk fans as the town came alive to the sound of music with gigs, poetry sessions, workshops and a street fair.
Festival chairman Owen Lewis said the festival hit the right note from the start when chart-toppers Chumbawamba opened the entertainment at Martello Caravan Park in front of a sell-out crowd.
He said their "marvellous performance" was the first of many.
"It's gone really well," he said. "We must have had a very busy A12 full of very satisfied customers travelling home."
