Police have issued more information in a bid to trace a man who disappeared several months ago.
Concerns are growing for Gary Lovett who went missing at the end of April.
Appeals have been made by the 47-year-old's family in Parkeston, and detectives have been drafted in to help search for the missing man.
Now they have released more information about his last sightings in Colchester.
Sgt Peter Wood, of Harwich police, said it is now known Mr Lovett was booked to stay at the night shelter in Colchester's Alexander Road from April 21 to May 1.
Police also revealed he was signed up to sell the Big Issue in the town on April 26. But no-one has seen Mr Lovett since.
Sgt Wood said: "We have circulated posters in Colchester and Ipswich and throughout the local police stations in an effort to find him. But we are anxious if anyone has seen him to contact us."
Mr Lovett is 5ft 6-8ins tall, weighs 12st and is of slim build. He has receding fair hair and usually has facial stubble.
Anyone who has seen him should ring Harwich police on 01255 241312
