A variety of examples of work with textiles are on show at Braintree Museum.
East Anglian Stitch Textiles (East) is holding the exhibition at the Manor Street museum until October 2, before exhibiting at Alexandra Palace in London from October 7.
East was formed in 1995 and has 14 members from across the county.
The group aims to offer a self-supporting framework for members to develop their own work.
East meets every month at the Learning for Life Centre within Braintree Museum and this is their fourth exhibition.
Anne Norton, one of the members, said: "The idea is for us to develop. People have travelled quite a long way to come to the exhibition, some from Southend and another from Romford."
The work on show at the exhibition is also available to buy.
