The future face of Leigh Old Town has been revealed as part of plans for a multi-million marina development.
Ron Fraser, of Westcliff, wants to convert buildings at the former Johnson and Jago site into a hotel, restaurant and bar complex while improving facilities at the boatyard at the same time.
He has now made the designs for the development public in a bid to win support for the plans.
Mr Fraser said: "It's a very important site. I think everyone should have a say in it. We're talking to everyone involved.
"We need local people on our side if we are going to submit our plans.
"Before we submit our plans we want to get it right. There is no point to go for planning permission if it has no chance of getting passed."
