Dozens of floral tributes have been placed at the scene of a road crash which claimed the life of a teenager.
Many of the cards from Andrew Jones's friends and family use the nickname Big Man or Bones and describe his death as a tragedy.
"Missing you already", "You will never be forgotten and "You're a top bloke" were among the messages.
Andrew, of Kingfisher Close, Shoebury, was travelling towards Shoebury along Thorpe Esplanade, when he lost control of his black Ford Escort near Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, just after 5.30am on Saturday.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident but it is believed the car spun out of control after hitting the kerb.
Police would like to speak to two teenagers, who they think may have witnessed the events leading up to the accident.
Senior investigating officer, Insp Grahame Pinder said: "A local resident has told us that two teenagers on bicycles went up to the Escort after the crash near the yacht club.
"They then spoke briefly with this resident before leaving prior to our arrival.
"We would dearly like to speak with these two boys as they may have seen the moments leading up to the crash and could help us to ascertain why Andrew lost control of his car."
Anyone with information about the accident was asked to call Rayleigh Road Policing Unit on 01268 775533.
