A schoolboy from Brentwood hit the big time this week after being asked to promote the re-launch of children's television classic Blue Peter.
James Llewellyn from Hutton, and six of his friends from the Beverly Marks Stage School in Harold Wood, appeared in adverts promoting the new series, in the programme's title sequence and were even interviewed on Monday's show.
Stage school founder Beverly Marks said: "We are very proud of them but not surprised because they are very good students. They work very hard and are very committed so it was a nice success for them."
Penny Llewellyn, James' mother, said: "It was surreal seeing James on the telly but we are really proud of him."
