It took place at Thorpe Bay High School playing fields and was part of a national series held around the country as part of British Cycling's commitment to find future Olympic and World cycling champions.
More than 30 children of all ages from six years upwards took part in a series of cycle coaching sessions.
Chris Smith, Wheelers' youth development officer, said: "Each participant was timed for each discipline. These are then forwarded to British Cycling with recommendations of those who are within the criteria set out by British Cycling.
"From the Thorpe Bay session I will be recommending three youngsters for further testing. We are working here at the ground roots of cycling in this country with an aim to find Britain's future champions in the sport. It's very exciting."
