Whatever next? First you could buy fish and chips in posh Frinton, then drink in a pub.
Now, you can even get a tattoo - although not inside the famous gates. A new business, Dare to Bare, has opened on the Triangle shopping estate.
It is the brainchild of two former Tendring Technology College students, Kelly Ashforth, 20, and Sian Jennings, 20, both of Kirby, who have each had a grounding in the beauty trade.
They decided to set up shop as they felt Frinton had beauty salons which only catered for one end of the market.
"We are going to go completely the other end of the scale, aiming at the young generation," said Kelly.
Dare to Bare will offer non-permanent tattoos, spray-tanning, nail extensions and "outrageous funky hairstyles".
The salon is due to open on Saturday.
