It was far from unlucky 13 for Colchester in their opening Women's FA Cup encounter.
They destroyed Rushcliffe smashing home 13 goals without reply.
It took ten minutes for the U's to find the back of the net but after Kirsty Cammell scored the floodgates opened and Colchester put away a further eight goals for a half-time score of 9-0.
Both Cammell and Amy Warnes scored four apiece in a game which the U's completely dominated.
Even both of the centre-backs got on the score sheet, Jane Swift with one and Krista Hultquist netting two.
The ladies will now travel to Walsall for the second round qualifying match on Sunday, September 26.
