A man attempted to get a double dose of Viagra by forging his prescription.
Corrado Ferretti, 52, was prescribed some Viagra tablets by a doctor, and presented a prescription to a pharmacy for four tablets.
The pharmacist noticed the prescription for the dose had been altered from 50 to 100 microgrammes, and the alteration had not been initialled.
Ferretti, of Ockleford Avenue, Chelmsford, admitted forgery and using a false prescription, and was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, at Chelmsford Crown Court.
David Holborn, in mitigation, said Ferretti accepted he should not have done what he did and understood it was wrong. It was a ham-fisted attempt which was doomed to failure.
At an earlier hearing last month, Ferretti denied ten charges alleging offences of indecent assault and gross indecency concerning two girls.
The prosecution offered no evidence and the judge directed that verdicts of not guilty be entered. Ferretti was discharged.
