The culprits are believed to have struck at St Lawrence Church, Rowhedge, on Friday night in the latest of a spate of vandalism involving headstones.
Churchwarden Michael Blowers said: "They have smashed corners on quite a few of the wall supports - about 12 corners have been smashed off with part of a gravestone."
He added that a number of gravestones have been broken in the churchyard over the past fortnight, but this is the first time one has been used to cause more damage.
