A slimmer who shed more than a stone in weight has revealed the secret of her trim new figure washing her kitchen floor.
Slimmer - Yvonne Thorne puts her success at losing weight down to housework
Yvonne Thorne, of Coggeshall Road, Bradwell, has won a Slimming World platinum award for her efforts.
She is one of four Coggeshall group members - along with Angela Humphreys, Beryl Brewer and Chris Ford - who have lost 98lbs between them and picked up the Olympics-style awards.
Mrs Thorne, 59, has lost 1st 1.5lbs since joining the group in May. Housework was the key to her slimming success, including 15 minutes of kitchen floor cleaning three times a week.
She added: "I also do hoovering for an hour a day and the gardening and mow the lawn twice a week, which all adds to my physical activity."
