A primary care trust has unveiled details of its new bid for a hi-tech health centre with transport links and satellite surgeries.

A recommendation to re-apply for planning permission to develop a new primary care centre in Kennedy Way, Great Clacton, is set to be rubberstamped at a board meeting of Tendring Primary Care Trust (PCT) on Thursday.

The new health centre will enable the expansion of the range of services provided in primary care including out-patient services for which people currently need to travel to Colchester for.

A similar planning application was previously rejected earlier this year after public concerns over transport issues.
