Everyone likes to think they have a unique personality but even the most extrovert of characters like David Coates can be pigeonholed.
Featured on a BBC documentary last night, the recruitment director from Southend was categorised as a big thinker - flexible, insightful and innovative.
Mr Coates, 32, said: "No one likes to be put in a box and I thought no one would be able to do me. But I was wrong. I got everything from the programme that I wanted. It was a great laugh."
Mr Coates, who lives with girlfriend Monique and stepdaughter Harriet in Scratton Road, was one of several volunteers put through a series of tests in What Am I Like?
