Basildon lady golfer Daphne Saitch needed every ounce of her concentrationand determination this week.
First of all she took on a Stockbrook Manor opponent in the fourth round of the Ida Bunting Trophy.
Both golfers played close to their 11 and 12 handicaps - with few mistakes being made - and it was nip and tuck all the way.
The match was all square after 16 holes with nerves beginning to fray - but the Basildon player managed to hold it together to take the 17th with a par five.
Then both players parred the 18th to give Saitch the match, one up, taking her into the semi finals.
