Grays kept their proud record of being the only unbeaten side in Confer-ence South with a 2-1 win at Bishop's Stortford last night.
The victory pushed Mark Stimson's men two places up the table into second place and they now trail leaders Basingstoke by just a point.
Former Grays man Dave Rainford opened the scoring for the hosts in the first minute, only for Freddie Eastwood to equalise in great style after being set-up by Mitchell Cole after 15 minutes.
And a 50th minute goal by Leroy Griffiths saw delighted Grays fans in a 451-strong crowd cheer their heroes to their fourth three-point haul in six games.
