West Ham manager Alan Pardew is displeased.
A sloppy performance at Coventry City ended in a 2-1 defeat, while club captain Steve Lomas capped a miserable evening with a pathetically stupid sending off.
With a break next weekend for the international programme, changes are promised.
"As a West Ham team I would expect us to play better than that," said Pardew. "There are a few individuals who could do better than they did last night.
"I didn't think we passed the ball well at times and we were far from happy with our first half performance.
"We only have ourselves to blame and I am not happy with this team at the moment.
"Hopefully I can bring one or two new faces in and spark a few players to perform better than they did tonight."
