A packed programme entertained the crowds at one of a village's biggest annual events.
Kirby fete hosted an arena full of dance, music, displays, traditional games and stalls yesterday. Held at St Michael's Church, off The Street, it raised money for three projects in the village.
There were performances from Morris dancers, cheerleaders, Harwich Pipe Band and Stagestruck dancers as well as a novelty dog show and talent competition.
Strong-armed contestants played toss the bale and took part in a tug of war.
Children were able to enjoy Punch and Judy shows, get their faces painted and abseil their teddies from the church.
So far, fundraisers have gathered more than £6,000.
