A man who worked as a runner for two drug barons has been jailed for 21 months.
Kay Cee, 27, distributed drugs from a flat in Coleman Street, Southend, for his two employers and handed over Ecstasy tablets in telephone boxes.
Cee stayed at the flat and lived in a locked room away from the other two men, said Craig Rush, prosecuting, at Basildon Crown Court. Mr Rush said the two drug dealers were each jailed for three years by another court.
Cee, who has previous convictions for theft and drug offences, admitted possessing 34 Ecstasy tablets with intent to supply and possessing a small amount of cannabis.
Laureen Fleischmann, defdending, said: "Cee was desperate for money."
