Leigh sunk to another defeat away at Hutton in a closely fought tussle.
Having won the toss and deciding to bat, Leigh finished on 203-5 with skipper Mick Goodman scoring a stylish 68.
Simon Burch also chipped in with a fine 44 but the total proved a little short as Hutton rattled off the runs in the final over of the match.
Leigh bowler John Elliott took four wickets for 47 runs but his efforts proved to be in vain as Hutton reached the required 204 with five wickets to spare.
"It was a very close game," said captain Goodman.
"We gave it our best shot and picked up 10 points which was OK but we were very close to winning and it's a little frustrating."
