Defeat by Hainault ensured that Westcliff go into their final match of the season next Saturday with their Premier Division status still very much in doubt.

Their opponents this weekend took over second spot, but there could be more problems for Westcliff in the fact that their last game sees them take on a Wanstead side who, although currently lying third, could still take the runners-up position.
Having been restricted to just 160 runs in their innings, Westcliff ran up against a good knock of 82 from Essex man Ravinder Bopara when Hainault replied and the opposition won with four wickets to spare for a 20-point haul.
The two points picked up by John Pratt's men means that they are third from bottom, just three clear of a Shenfield side currently filling the second relegation spot. Westcliff are seven behind Ilford.
