Having been relegated from the Premier at the end of last season, skipper Devang Gandhi has ensured Hadleigh will retain their Division One status.
The captain hit the latest in a long line of outstanding knocks, 106, for the John Burrows Ground side on Saturday as they made a 182-8 total against promotion-chasing Hornchurch. Dreyer took 5-97 for the opposition.
When Hornchurch replied they won the game with 186-6 to pick up 18 points with former Essex wicket-keeper Robert Rollins leading the way with 60.
But the points gained and results elsewhere ensure Hadleigh will not be involved in the relegation fight in next weekend's round of final matches - although Hornchurch could yet be pipped for second spot by Chingford.
