Phil Parkinson will be looking to his ace marksman Craig Fagan to pull more goals out of the hat as Colchester United aim to continue their great start to the season.
The quicksilver former Birmingham City striker has netted three goals in only five starts as he prepares for an August Bank Holiday double against Doncaster Rovers at Layer Road tomorrow and Hartlepool at Victoria Park on Monday.
"Craig is a class player who gets what I call goalscorers' goals,' said U's boss Parkinson.
"We all know he's more than capable of hitting spectacular goals, but this season he's netting them in and around the six-yard box.
"I'm very pleased with him so far. He's getting into the danger area more often and the goals will continue to come."
Meanwhile, boosted by an uplifting Carling Cup, second round, home draw against Premiership club West Bromwich Albion, the U's supremo is preparing for a very tough challenge against Doncaster and Hartlepool.
He said: "I have a lot of respect for Doncaster. They're a very hard-working side that has just enjoyed two highly successful seasons."
