Excitement over golf's Ryder Cup heightens this weekend when European team captain Bernhard Langer names the team to defend the trophy against the United States.

This year's match takes place at Oaklands Hill, Michigan, from Friday, September 17, until Monday, September 19.
But members at Billericay's Crondon Park club were able to get an early glimpse of the trophy when it went on display.
Among those lucky enough to their hands on one of the most prized trophies in the golfing world was delighted 13-year-old John Day, who is Crondon Park's Junior Trophy holder.
