More than 120,000 people of all ages, from all parts of the country, packed into a corner of Essex at the weekend to see some of the finest bands around play at the V Festival in Hylands Park, Chelmsford.
Despite the terrible rain of last week leaving parts of the festival site muddy and some vehicles needing a helping hand out of the car park, the weather was kind with the sun shining down both days.
With an amazing line-up, with everything from Primal Scream to Pink, there really was music for everyone whatever your taste.
