If you look up the definition of smooth in a dictionary there wouldn't be any great surprise to see them mention Jamie Cullum.
Crowds watch Jamie Cullum
He's got the voice, and the moves - charging about the stage and at one point nearly jumping on his piano.
There's even the cheeky boy-next-door look, and he's a difficult singer not to like.
We get a good cover version of Pharrell Williams/ Neptunes track Frontin' and a good interpretation of Hendrix hit Wind Crys Mary.
The problem comes when he tackles Radiohead.
Anyone who's willing to have a go at trying to match Thom Yorke's vocals is certainly going to have a challenge.
The interpretation of High and Dry is by no means bad, but somehow you just can't get the original out of your head.
Perhaps with one or two changes in the set and a bit more original material Jamie Cullum can win a few more doubters over to his piano-led sound.
