Goal hero Tommy Miller admitted it was nice to silence Ipswich Town's critics after brushing aside Cardiff City.
The Blues roared back after last week's setback at Derby County to triumph 3-1 at Portman Road on Saturday.
And, reflecting on his side's Coca-Cola Championship success, Miller told the Evening Gazette: "It's so early in the season but a lot of people have been getting on our backs already.
"It's disappointing to hear and read but, as a group of players, we've got great belief in ourselves.
"This certainly wasn't our best performance but we passed the ball a lot better than we did against Derby.
"We also looked very solid defensively."
