Orsett are making a brave late challenge to escape Division One relegation.
Their victory over Hadleigh and Thundersley on Saturday was the second on the spin - previously they'd won only two all season - and they now have realistic hopes of avoiding the drop.
With two matches to go they're now just a point adrift of third from bottom Walthamstow, who meet champions elect Wickford next weekend.
Fourth from bottom Hadleigh, 15 clear of Walthamstow, should just about escape being dragged into the relegation mire but it's been another disappointing term for them after relegation from the Premier last year.
Orsett were sent on their way to a 20-point haul when Paul Shaw led the way with 58 in a 186-9 knock. Hadleigh, bowled out for 130, could manage just five points in reply.
