A publican and three regulars cycled from London to Brighton to raise £1,720 for St Luke's Hospice in Basildon.

Jim Orman, boss at the Whitmore Arms, Orsett, along with Ron Pyke from Stanford-le-Hope, Debra Murphy from Horndon and Peter Nitka - the Whitmore Wheelers - handed the cash to the hospice's Trudy Westmore-Cox.
