Watching the Scissor Sisters on the NME stage felt more like a West End musical than the mid-afternoon session at a festival.
The queens of camp turned on the style and put in a performance that matched the glorious Sunday sunshine at the V Festival.
Singers Ana Matronic and Jake Shears got the crowd gyrating to a mix of disco and rock with powerful vocal performances.
The New York group were greeted with whoops of delight whenever they started into one of their singles.
Special mentions go to 'Laura' and their cover of Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb.'
The group finished with a theatrical stage bow, which seemed an entirely appropriate way to end the set.
