Groove Armada produced a quality set here at the JJB Arena in Chelmsford.
The sound, lighting and visual crews should be applauded for producing some excellent graphics beamed onto a scream behind the stage. This complemented the music perfectly.
'I See You Baby,' famous for being the soundtrack to the Renault Megane car advert receieved a warm response from the crowd - I wonder how many car sales the French manufacturer has made this year thanks to the band's efforts?
'At The River' with its lazy brilliance and gorgeous trombone solo was a popular choice inside the packed JJB dance tent.
Perhaps the best bit was reserved for the end with the playing of the song 'Superstylin' off the 2001 album 'Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub)' causing most of the crowd to wave their arms in the air in wild abandon.
