A kindhearted woman is planning to take to the skies to raise money for charity - even though she is petrified of flying.
Nervous - Debbie Brownlie hates flying, but she will take a microflight to raise cash for charity Picture: ROB BROWNE
Debbie Brownlie, 34, from Laindon Link, Laindon, has decided to do a microlight flight in October to raise money for Sands, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.
The mother-of-six said: "I had a stillbirth baby ten years ago and nearly lost another five years ago.
"I went to Sands for counselling and they were fantastic.
"Ever since, I have been looking for a way to say thank you."
Her flight is planned for October 14 over Rochester and she is hoping to raise more than £500 in sponsorship.
