Youngsters were given the opportunity to emulate world number one Tiger Woods in the Nike-sponsored Youth Masters Golf (YMG) competition at Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre.
Centre manager Bill Chapman called the day a 'complete success' and was pleased to see 60 young golfers take part.
The format for the day was a 'flag competition', with each junior receiving a number of shots to go round the course in.
Once all shots were used up a flag marked their finishing position, with the winner being the junior who made it furthest round.
In the five-to-six age group Jack Staines made it furthest.
Ages seven-to-eight saw Alex Gocking take first with Albie James second and Charlie Sargeant third. Chloe Harrold won this category for the girls.
The nine-to-ten category saw Rivenhall's very own Lee Wilson take first, his finish on the 11th green in just 39 shots making him the overall winner for the boys.
In the same age group Josh Tobin took second with Keiran Record third.
Gareth Bull was top of the pile in the 11-to-12 category, followed by Luke Rawling in second and Charlie Baker in third.
Lucy Goddard, of Nazeing Golf Club, made herself winner of the 11-to-12 category and also overall winner for the girls with her finish on the ninth green in a mere 39 shots.
Zoe Taylor finished second and Helen Keech third in the same age group.
In the 13-14 age group Craig Hill finished first for the boys with Charlie Dyer second and Kieran Bowden third.
