Midfielder Mark Gower is urging the Shrimpers to start strongly against Cambridge tomorrow.
Steve Tilson's side have conceded early goals in all three fixtures so far this season and Gower is urging the team to stop that worrying trend this weekend.
"I think the key to the match is the way we start in the opening 20 minutes," said the winger.
"We've let in an early goal in every game we've played this year and that's something we need to sort out.
"We have a lot of quality in our team, there's no doubt about that, but we must start matching teams early on and then let that quality shine through."
