Southend United centre back Spencer Prior is desperate to see the Shrimpers return to winning ways against Cambridge United at Roots Hall tomorrow.
On the up - now Spencer Prior wants his Blues team-mates to give their season a lift
Blues have yet to triumph during the new campaign and currently sit 22nd in the early League Two standings.
But Prior, who rejoined his home-town side during the summer, is confident Southend can turnaround their stuttering start by claiming a morale-boosting victory over the U's.
"It's a tough game but I'm not too worried about what Cambridge do," said the experienced 33-year-old.
"All I'm worried about is Southend and making sure we start to do better than we have been. We've been working very hard in training and hopefully we can get the three points we all want on Saturday."
The important encounter should also see Prior facing Daniel Webb - son of the defender's former Blues boss David who guided Southend to a double promotion in the early 1990s.
"It's going to be interesting and I'm looking forward to it," said Prior. "The last time I saw Daniel I was helping out with some coaching at his junior school."
