A daring great-grandmother will be doing a parachute jump to raise money for the Essex Air Ambulance.
Gladys Barratt, 70, will be jumping 10,000ft from a plane over Dodington, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday.
She has had a lot of sponsorship from people ranging from her work colleagues at Harwich International Port to her doctor.
Before she could do the parachute jump, Mrs Barrett had to pass a medical certificate, and the money that she had to pay for that was given by her doctor as sponsorship money.
At the moment, she estimates the total raised at about £600.
