Simon Brown is counting the minutes to what is certain to be the greatest day yet of his goalkeeping career.
The 27-year-old new Hibernian hero and former Colchester United Player-of-the-Year is only 48 hours away from a 'dream' outing against Glasgow giants Rangers.
And the eagerly-awaited clash comes just three matches into the Scottish Premier Division season and nine weeks after his switch from Layer Road.
"I can barely believe it," Brown told the Evening Gazette today.
"Playing against one of the best teams in Scotland in front of 60,000 fanatical fans at Ibrox Stadium is one of the main reasons why I moved north of the border.
"And for an unknown nobody from a little English club like Colchester, who barely muster 3,000-4,000 crowds, it's a fabulous occasion and I can't wait for Saturday.
"I'm so excited by the prospect that I drove down from Edinburgh on Sunday to have a look round Ibrox and Celtic's Parkhead Stadium."
