Sarah Naylor and Matthew Pearce have had a busy time contesting tournaments over the past week.
Sarah Naylor - busy week
Thorpe Bay-based Sarah took a quartet of wins at the Westcliff Hardcourts junior tournament, which finished at the weekend.
And then she travelled to Wimbledon for the National 14 and under challenge this week.
Sarah's successful run at the Hard comprised winning the mixed doubles with John Western, claiming the under-17 and under-14 singles titles plus the girls' doubles.
But she suffered two straight sets defeats at Wimbledon before winning her third match 6-4 7-6 (7-5).
Southend's Matthew, 14, fared better at Wimbledon by winning all three of his group matches. But he lost the under-18 mixed doubles and under-16 singles at Westcliff Hard.
