A village pub team has rowed to victory in Cancer Research UK's dragon boat regatta.
The Crown Crusaders, from the Crown Inn, Cattawade, beat 13 other teams, including another local team, the Brantham Boat Buoys.
The event, the second to be held at Alton Water near Ipswich, was in aid of Cancer Research and carers charity Suffolk Coastal Crossroads.
Landlord Paul Bendall said the team, captained by Justin Vince, had recorded the fastest time of the day, one minute 12 seconds.
"They did really well," he added. "They organised it themselves, and beat the Suffolk Police team, who won last year. It was quite a competitive day."
Community fundraiser Nicki Stapleton said: "We were particularly lucky with the weather, and we hope to have raised over £10,000."
