Southend United supremo Ron Martin is confident the Shrimpers will soon get their season back on track - despite the League Two side enduring a miserable start to the new campaign.
Blues, who currently sit 22nd in the table, have yet to win or score from open play during their three opening fixtures.
But Martin is sure it is only a matter of time before things begin to click back into place for the struggling Seasiders.
"I have every confidence in Steve Tilson's and Paul Brush's ability to work with the team and I am absolutely certain the results will start to get better very soon," said the club's co owner.
"Of course I've been disappointed with the results so far - everyone has I would guess - but it's very early days and there is real competition for places here.
"We have a good squad, we've brought in superior players to the ones we lost at the end of last season and there are no bad apples among the players either anymore. That's why I'm sure we will soon be higher up the table."
