The event held at the recreation ground has been the centrepiece for the villages along the river for more than a century.
It acts as one of the biggest horticultural and craft shows in the area.
Richard Curtis, one of the organisers, said: "Thankfully the weather wasn't too hot. If it was any hotter some people may have not come and maybe visited the beach.
"The different sections range from fruit and vegetable to floral art. It's a wide mixture and I think that's what keeps everyone coming back.
"We had a good number of people attend and the various competitions produced good entries especially the art, craft and photography category."
