A mother was airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured in a car crash.

The 34-year-old woman, of Maldon, was travelling with her husband and daughters, aged nine and four, towards Harwich along the A120 at 12.20pm on Sunday.
But her car, a black Rover 620, was involved in a collision with a blue 4x4 Kia Executive, also heading towards Harwich, close to the Great Bromley junction.
The woman was flown by air ambulance to Colchester General Hospital with suspected spinal and abdominal injuries.
Her husband and children were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The Kia driver, a 76-year-old Colchester man, and his wife, 75, were taken by ambulance to the Colchester hospital.
The woman had a head injury and the man had chest pains.
